In order to strengthen the industry-education-research combined mode, and to promote the transfer of technological achievements, Wonder Ace Technology Development Group began to plan and develop Wanhua Science and Technology Park (“WSTP”) in Suzhou. WSTP is located in southwest of Suzhou city, covering an area of 100,000 square meters with the planned gross floor area of 66,600 square meters. Total invest is around 40 million US dollars.
Wanhua Science and Technology Park could meet the needs of business office, education and training, R&D, incubation, trial production, international conference, etc.
The following are basic park functions:
1、A Base for R&D: to focus on R&D of IT, precise machinery, optical-mechanical-electrical integration, and new material; to introduce the applied research centers and R&D centers; and to help to build joint labs between the universities and the companies
2、A Base for Business Incubation: to build professional incubators, cultivating groups of promising hi-tech companies; to build international business incubators, well prepared for the launch of foreign companies.
3、A Base for Talent Training: To integrate the educational resources of Universities, and cooperate with higher education Institutions internal and external providing a wide range of professional training program.
Wonder Ace Technology Development Group also takes part in the project of Suzhou University National Science Park. This park is located in Wujiang, covering an area of 333,000 meter squares.
